We are Quote-Unquote, a small software company that develops Mac and iOS apps and also produces physical products. We are looking for a passionate and strategic Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts and drive growth across both digital and physical products.

Our Products

Apps

• Highland Pro – Our flagship app, designed for screenwriters, with an upcoming transition to a subscription model.
• Weekend Read – An app for reading scripts and books on the go.
• Bronson Watermarker – A tool for quickly watermarking PDF files.

For our apps, we want to grow our subscriber base and increase product awareness.

Physical Products

• Writer Emergency Pack – A card deck for solving story problems, with strong seasonal sales (mostly through Amazon).
• AlphaBirds – A great card game.

We want to sell more of these (obviously) and expand retail sales channels.

• Team Highland Discord – A new but growing community of users.
• MailChimp – A large mailing list for direct outreach.
• Inneresting  – A twice-weekly newsletter sent via Substack.
• Scriptnotes Podcast – A widely followed podcast about screenwriting.
